A field perspective on the Grand Bargain: latest reports

Picture4

At the World Humanitarian Summit in May 2016, OECD donors and humanitarian actors made a series of commitments to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of humanitarian aid – summarised in the Grand Bargain. Ground Truth Solutions has been commissioned by the OECD, with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office, to track the way people affected by humanitarian crises and field staff experience and view the reforms agreed upon.

In preparation for the humanitarian segment of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) meetings, Ground Truth Solutions has published findings from surveys conducted in Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Haiti. The reports provide insight on how humanitarian action is experienced in the field and how to do better in future. Reports are available here.
